Kurt Helborg can be taken as a Lord choice. He must be fielded exactly as presented here and no extra equipment or magic items can be bought for him.

Kurt Helborg is the Captain of the Reiksguard Knights and one of the Emperor Karl Franz's most trusted military commanders. He is reputed to be the finest swordsman in the Empire. As Captain of the Reiksguard Knights Helborg is leader of the nation's mostly deadly warrior corps. He is also the Reiksmarshall of the Empire, commander of all the Empire's forces, second only to the Emperor himself. As such he has often led the army into battle, and is one of the most experienced generals in the Old World.

SPECIAL RULES

The Grand Master: Templar Grandmasters are veterans of hundreds of battles. Such strong is their will and such high is their faith that they are immune to psychology. In addition, if a Grandmaster joins a unit of knights of his Order they also become immune to psychology, such high is their faith in their Leader's battle prowess.

MAGIC ITEMS

Runefang: Magic weapon. All hits of Runefang wound automatically with no armour save allowed.

Dawn Armour: Magic armour Counts as full plate armour (4+ armour save). In addition, you may reroll all failed armour saves.

Sigil of Sigmar: Adds 2 extra dispel dice to a dispell roll against any spell affecting a wearer or a unit he is with.

Rod of Command: A bearer and a unit he is with will automatically pass FIRST break test in a game. A break test would be passed even if normally a unit would automatically break, for example when defeated by outnumbering enemy which causes fear. Note that if player FORGETS to use the Rod (i.e. takes a break test and passes it) it still counts as being used and cannont be used in any further break tests.
